What are some things we do?
- Some activities we will participate in include: listening to guest speakers, tutoring and supporting families within the community, going on "field trips" to visit bilingual special education programs, and attending/presenting at conferences.
- We are currently partnering with the Western Avenue Community Center:
- Some things we do with the Community Center are provide after school tutoring Monday-Friday from 3:30-5:30. We conduct reading assessments on the students who participate in the after school tutoring.
- Not only does the center provide the after school program, but they also provide youth programs, summer camps, senior programs, hispanic outreach programs, food pantries, and interpretation services.
